London 2012 Olympics Logo -- Ineffective?



Nikki Sandison of Brand Republic writes, "Almost three fifths of UK marketers have serious doubts about the effectiveness of the 2012 London Olympic logo."  Wolff Olins, the designer of this logo, was paid £400,000 after taking a year to complete this design.  It has drawn heavy criticism from both the public and media in the United Kingdom.  I'm going to have to agree.  Simply put…it sucks.
